Dual-frequency card reader for identification and enrollment (reads nearly all card types)
Features
- Easy interface
USB models connect directly to a USB port and can be configured to send data as keystroking, non-keystroking or Virtual Serial Communications. RS-232 models connect to a serial port and send data as ASCII. Ethernet models connect through an RJ45 connection and are sent data as either ASCII or E/IP.
Note: To utilize PoE features with some models, a C-6200 adapter may be required - Compatibility
Compatible with Windows XP®/7®/8.1®, ThinManager® thin clients, and Linux. (Free configuration software required on Windows® operating system). - Card Configurations
Provided standard with four* card configurations where two configurations are pre-set and two configurations are user-definable. *For readers with firmware version starting with “LNC.” - User-adjustable beeper volume
Beeper volume can be configured to be off, low volume, medium volume, or high volume for quiet work areas or, conversely, in noisy work environments. - Improves accuracy of information and productivity

Featuring an articulated cable, the standard housing reader can easily be mounted on kiosks, monitors, time clocks, and more.

Additional configurable features, including hashing for increased security, have been added to the pcProx Plus reader firmware for RDR-80581AKU and RDR-80081AKU (request firmware version 1.4.3 or later). Access the extended functionality from the pcProx Configuration utility version 5.2.3 or later.
