The TBS 3D LIGHT is a highly advanced, contactless biometric terminal that merges the speed of face detection with the precision of iris recognition. Designed for environments where hygiene, security, and user convenience are non-negotiable, this device delivers an intuitive, hands-free authentication experience that works even when users wear masks or glasses.

At its core, the 3D LIGHT uses three sensors: one for capturing facial data to guide users into the correct position, another for high-precision iris scanning, and an optional thermal sensor that measures body temperature. Thanks to this hybrid approach, the terminal reliably verifies identity using just the user’s eyes, while also alerting for elevated skin temperature if configured.

One of the standout features of the 3D LIGHT is its zero-rejection capability: it effectively recognizes users regardless of face coverings, headwear, or eyewear. As long as one iris is visible, the system can identify the person, minimizing friction and frustration during authentication.

The 3D LIGHT supports multi-factor authentication, offering PIN entry and RFID card validation (MIFARE Classic / DESFire) on top of biometric verification. Enrollment happens directly on the terminal, reducing administrative complexity and ensuring that user data stays secure.

From a deployment perspective, this terminal is built for both access control and time & attendance use cases. It is designed for wall-mounted indoor installations, making it ideal for corporate offices, research labs, data centers, healthcare facilities, or any workspace where touchless, high-security access is critical. The optional temperature sensor enhances its suitability for health-sensitive environments like hospitals and laboratories.

Thanks to its large user capacity — up to 50,000 unique identities — the 3D LIGHT scales smoothly across small sites to large enterprise deployments.
